Open position: Sustainability Specialist

Location: Tortona (AL)

Sustainability is a key component of the Group’s corporate strategy for the creation of shared value with all stakeholders and in particular to contribute to the growth and development of the territories in which it operates. ASTM is currently rated best in class in the sector by the main rating providers thanks to challenging ESG objectives fully integrated into the Group’s strategy.

In this context, we are looking for a Sustainability Specialist to be included in the Sustainability Department of the parent company ASTM S.p.A. with the aim of providing operational support in the implementation of the sustainability strategy, in the supervision of ESG issues related to business activities and interactions with all stakeholders.

 

Main activities

The main activities will concern support for the Sustainability Department in order to:

  • prepare the consolidated non-financial statement (NFS) of the Group in accordance with Legislative Decree 254/2016, GRI Standards and international best practices (eg. SASB, TCFD)
  • monitor the implementation of the sustainability strategy and the progress of ESG objectives, including CO2 emissions reduction targets
  • support the management of energy efficiency initiatives
  • develop Stakeholder engagement activities in compliance with the AA1000 standard and the Reporting Principles of the GRI Standards
  • monitor the updating of ESG ratings
  • monitor the updating of the policies, risks and management systems implemented for the relevant ESG topics
  • support internal and external communication relating to sustainability topics

 

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Environmental or Energy) or Economics
  • 2/3 years of experience in similar roles gained in complex organizations or consulting firms
  • Mastery of the main IT tools
  • Good knowledge of English (B2 / C1)
